Leadership and Expertise
Lynniah Grayson is a mother of two, a researcher, consultant, and advocate with expertise in nonprofit management, human resources, and violence prevention. As the Founder and former Executive Director of Resilient In Sustaining Empowerment (RISE), she raised nearly $3 million over four years to support gun violence survivors. In 2024, she graduated from the University of Chicago’s Crime Lab Community Violence Intervention Leadership Academy. Combining her experience as a survivor with her current research work, Lynniah continues to drive impactful change, helping communities and individuals heal and thrive.
